As you can see from the title there will be some changes to my site coming from this upcoming season and beyond.
After some thought over the last few weeks I have decided that unfortunately, I will no longer be posting individual tournament pages with matches / results. I have made this decision for a number of reasons. Firstly, Around 75% of the time I spend doing daily updates during tournaments is made up from adding results and future fixtures and as I'm sure you're aware there are so many tournaments nowadays that these daily updates can be for several consecutive days at a time. Secondly, There are many other places online to find results (Such as snooker.org, World Snooker live scoring, CueTracker and even Wikipedia) and they are all updated almost immediately after a match has finished. I know for sure I would head over to them sites before my own to find results as they happen. Finally, The tournament pages are not the most visited page on the site. The 100centuries page is by far the most popular page and then the Crucible pages, Ranking winners and calendar are also visiited regularly too.
It's been a while now since I've added any new features to the site, This is purely due to time constraints and reducing the amount of time I spend doing these tournament pages will definitely give me more time to work on some new features. I do have several ideas jotted down and will certainly begin to work on them in the near future so watch this space!
There will be two pages for each season from now on. The first will see the calendar merge with the list of tournaments for that season and the second for centuries. There will be a table to see who's made the most centuries in the season and also a list of centuries made in each tournament during that season.
